Are you a cancer survivor? Do you want to help more people beat cancer? Do you want to make history?
Come join the Moores UCSD Cancer Center and help break the record for longest line of surfboards.
Participants form a symbol of support by creating the longest line of surfboards laying in the sand nose-to-tail. The line starts at Scripps Pier and extends towards La Jolla Shores. Last year, approximately 200 people made a line that was just over three football fields long.
Come this year and…
*Help us break last year’s record – bring a friend, bring your quiver!
*Receive a free Surfing for a Cure souvenir
*Watch Heali’i’s Polynesian Revue perform traditional dance.
Survivor Beach was created in 2007 as a way to bring together individuals in the community to show their support for cancer research and to honor all individuals in their fight against cancer.
