Inside Sales Lead Generation, Life Science Development

Position: Full Time

The Life Science Division of Crown Bioscience Inc. is seeking a dynamic inside sales lead generation representative with a scientific background and exceptional phone skills. The representative should have knowledge of the in vitro and in vivo preclinical research and drug development markets with a focus on oncology and metabolic disease. The inside sales representative will enhance customer satisfaction and build customer relationships while actively prospecting and generating qualified leads for our business development teams.

Qualification & Skills:

  • LEAD GENERATION: Contribute to sales by generating and qualifying leads
  • CUSTOMER FOCUS: Enhance customer satisfaction and build customer relationships through consultative phone selling approaches
  • PLANNING: Develop and execute an effective lead generation plan for new business opportunities, in cooperation with marketing activities and corporate strategy
  • BUSINESS/MARKETS: Recognize and have knowledge of market trends and competitive intelligence
  • MANAGE RESOURCES/COMMUNICATION: Involve and support other team members to achieve mutual company goals and objectives
  • CUSTOMER DOCUMENTATION: Collect, record and assign all relevant data within the database system in support of successful quality lead generation efforts

Essential Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in life science related field
  • Prior laboratory experience, proven aptitude for laboratory techniques

Experience

  • Prior experience in inside sales or lead generation with proven performance of lead conversion
  • Knowledge of immunology, cell biology, molecular biology applications and/or ability to apply scientific workflow selling concepts
  • Ability to sell at all levels within an organization

Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent listening, verbal, written and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High capacity for teamwork
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Professional phone etiquette
