Biography: Heather Buschman

Heather Buschman earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Pathology at the University of California, San Diego. She also completed a health communications internship in the National Cancer Institute’s press office and spent two years as a science writer at The Scripps Research Institute. Heather was now the Scientific Communications Manager at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, where she wrote about science and managed traditional and social media outreach. In May 2013, Heather made an exciting transition to become Manager, Marketing Communications at NuVasive.
