Biography: Heather Buschman
Heather Buschman earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Pathology at the University of California, San Diego. She also completed a health communications internship in the National Cancer Institute’s press office and spent two years as a science writer at The Scripps Research Institute. Heather is now the Scientific Communications Manager at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, where she writes about science and manages traditional and social media outreach.
