The District Manager (DM) will manage a team of field based specialty sales representatives who will plan and execute Janssen Biotech’s sales strategies for breakthrough products in Oncology, Hematology and Urology. J2W:NSJ J2W:IRC J2W:LI NA Qualifications Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic / biotech, or medical device sales experience defined as selling FDA approved pharmaceutical or device product(s) to licensed healthcare professionals (i.e. MD, NP, RN, etc) is required. A minimum of two (2) years of management and/or supervisory experience is preferred. Completion of a J&J Management Development Program (Field Development Program, DM Prep Program) or prior management experience required in lieu of FLDP or DMPP is preferred. Large account management experience is highly preferred along with the ability to create and execute strategic business plans. Prior knowledge of the Oncology / Urology / Nephrology field(s) is preferred. All candidates must have a valid driver’s license issued in one of the fifty (50) United States along with a clean driving record and must be willing to travel as needed or required. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 4 years Account Receivable and Collection experience who will take full ownership of the A/R & Collection position at a medium-sized growing and dynamic company. This position will be responsible for invoicing customers, tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generating analysis reports in a timely manner. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principles including revenue recognition principles, and be proficient at Great Plains accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel). The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator, both paper and over the phone, as he or she will frequently deal with higher levels of management. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Maintain up-to-date billing system Contribute to system and process improvements to support growing business and product lines Generate and send out invoices Work closely with customer service department Monitor license and other contracts and bill for renewals Manage revenue contracts and record revenue using applicable revenue recognition principles Set up and maintenance of sales items in systems Follow up on, collect and allocate payments Perform account reconciliations with ordering system reports Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities Research and resolve payment discrepancies Generate aging analysis and statistics reports Reconcile A/R aging to the G/L Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc. Investigate and resolve customer queries Communicate with customers via phone or e-mail Assist with month-end closing including journal entries for deferred and accrued revenue and other entries Collect data and prepare monthly metrics
