Exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific’s client located in San Diego, CA area.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will work for the Vice President of Clinical & Regulatory Strategy in order to create quality system templates and to maintain regulatory department documentation. which includes updating, cataloging, archiving and processing department documents (e.g., regulatory submissions, permits and licenses; regulations, guidance documents, and quality system procedures; post-market, adverse event/recall documentation; publications/bibliographies – clinical/scientific literature, periodicals; communications; product registration matrix; department training, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Catalog, archive and process department documents (e.g., regulatory submissions, permits and licenses; regulations, guidance documents, and quality system procedures
  • Scan literature and create e-filing system for intuitive access
  • Assist in organization of electronic project files
  • Ensure documentation folders / files have identification labels, create and apply as applicable
  • Escalate discrepancies and work with Vice President of Clinical & Regulatory Strategy to remediate gaps.
  • Create quality system templates
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Previous Administrative Assistant Experience
  • Must possess exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to plan and organize work in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to work on projects and tasks with limited supervision.
  • Excellent grammatical and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent in-person and electronic communication skills.
  • Ability to track tasks to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Must be able to work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice or format is required.
