UCSD is hosting its second ?Research Internship Speed Dating? event. This year?s theme is in Enriching Human Life and Society.? The purpose of this event is to connect local life science companies with research minded UCSD undergraduates through a ?speed dating? format. Each company will have a chance to meet with 10 students (7 minutes each) studying bioengineering, bioinformatics, chemistry and biochemistry, biology, and more, to determine a match. There will also be a networking session after the one-on-one meetings for companies to network with other students. Students are looking for internships, volunteer positions and part-time jobs that provide opportunities to exercise their passion for research.
