KGI’s Life Science Briefing Series (Claremont)

Life science is one of the most dynamic sectors in the global economy. But it is also one of the most challenging, with daunting risks offset by the promise of financial and societal reward.
Life science firms grapple with increasingly stringent regulatory requirements, a parched financing landscape, and dramatic shifts in demographics.
Clearly, in order to be effective, life science professionals and those wishing to enter the arena need the most current information about the industry and its pre-eminent categories.
This is why Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences (KGI) is offering a week-long briefing series on the life sciences March 15-19 2010. Starting with our overview of modern biology and bioengineering on Monday, March 15, the week proceeds to day-long explorations of the biopharma sector (Tuesday, March 16), the biofuels and ag bio sector (Wednesday, March 17), the diagnostics sector (Thursday, March 18) and the medical device sector (Friday, March 19).
Participants may attend one program, or mix several to meet business and/or career goals. Those who take all five days will receive a certificate of completion.
