UC San Diego chemical and nano engineering professor Liangfang Zhang has been named a 2026 MacArthur Fellow from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. He has developed a creative approach to medicine that features cell-mimicking nanoparticles to treat disease.
